We’re saddened to notice the passing of Skip Lazell, who made seminal contributions to the understanding of anole variety, biogeography and lots of different matters. We are going to particularly miss his common commentary, all the time in a really supportive approach, on many Anole Annal posts.
Based on Numi Mitchell on the Conservation Company, “Skip died on Friday, 30 June 2023. He had Parkinson’s and died quietly of pneumonia after many completely happy years of retirement and tender care from Wenhua Lu, his spouse. There’ll probably be a memorial service in some unspecified time in the future, however nothing is deliberate for the time being.”
