We first met Izzy Nesci when she was 15 and led a membership at NYC’s Trevor Day Faculty devoted to supporting Wild Tomorrow’s work. By bake gross sales and different artistic student-led initiatives, Izzy and the membership raised donations that helped fund the introduction of particular person giraffe and zebra at Wild Tomorrow’s Ukuwela Reserve in South Africa. In her remaining yr of highschool, Izzy traveled to South Africa as a volunteer with Wild Tomorrow, ‘assembly’ the giraffe and zebra at Ukuwela, serving to out on the group kindergarten, eradicating fencing to open habitat, helping dehorn rhinos, and serving to paint our new ranger camp.
