A former trainer who was filmed kicking and slapping a horse has been cleared of an animal cruelty offence.
Sarah Moulds was discovered not responsible of inflicting pointless struggling to a protected animal, a gray pony she owned referred to as Bruce Almighty.
She was filmed hanging the animal on 6 November 2021 and misplaced her job as a major faculty trainer a month later.
After a three-day trial at Lincoln crown courtroom, the jury of 11 males and one girl cleared the 39-year-old after simply over 5 hours of deliberation.
The courtroom had heard that Moulds had made “minimal contact” with the horse, who she nonetheless owns, and that there have been no indicators of exterior or inner damage following the incident within the Drift, Gunby, Lincolnshire.
Moulds, and several other family and friends who’ve supported her all through proceedings, wept as the decision was delivered.
