Explorers have retraced the trail of a doomed Nineteenth-century expedition to the Arctic looking for its legendary captain’s tomb.

Nationwide Geographic’s “Explorer: Misplaced within the Arctic,” which premiered Thursday (Aug. 24), chronicles a four-month quest to search out the grave of Sir John Franklin, whose ships vanished within the Canadian Arctic in 1846.
