The people who live nearby claim that this magnificent home in the Qee Ahe architecture has been abandoned for more than fifty years. The 4,000 square foot house that the average family owns in a rural Georgia town was constructed around 1900. Situated on a spacious corner lot. A few years ago, hurricane-force winds toppled one of the chimneys, causing it to burst through the covered porch and narrowly avoid hitting the roof.

A couple from Florida is the true owner of the property, according to public documents. When the house was still being renovated, they first planned to live there one room at a time in their new home. Despite this, the people had just finished fishing in the parlor room when they decided they didn’t want to live in the house.
